Ashley has been working with community based non profits since 2008, including a local peace and justice center, youth programs, and the Native American Youth and Family Center in Portland. She currently works for the State of Oregon as a Continuous Quality Improvement Analyst with Child Welfare. She also is a volunteer mentor with the Kenton Women's Village. In between all of this she has also taught elementary school in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. Ashley earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from California State University, Chico and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago. In her free time she practices the aerial arts and enjoys performing at local venues.
